Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Atlanta, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Georgia run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Atlanta is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Traffic in Atlanta peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Decided to try this spot for a Friday night dinner after driving past it countless times on trips to our usual grocery store. Itβs a bit hidden, but Iβm glad we finally stopped in. The restaurant is small and intimate, which gives it a cozy atmosphere. The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. We ordered the Philly roll, sweet and sour chicken, and the black tonkotsu ramen. The Philly roll was decadent. Every piece practically melted in your mouth, and I honestly have no complaints. The sweet and sour chicken came in a generous portion. The chicken itself was incredibly crispy and fried really well. The sauce was good, but I would have preferred a stronger Asian-inspired flavor. It leaned more toward a ketchup-based taste and appearance than the traditional sweet and sour sauce I was expecting. The black tonkotsu ramen was the highlight of the meal. I saw a bowl come out for another table before ordering and was genuinely surprised by how massive it was, which convinced me to get it. The broth was one of the best Iβve had. It was rich, flavorful, and deeply satisfying without being overly heavy. The main reason Iβm giving four stars instead of five is

I have been coming here since they were called Chico and Chang and they had like tacos and stuff ...anyway I ordered the house fried rice and fried Wontons my regular take out order. The Wontons were good but I'm like 90 percent sure they gave me recycled and or old rice. Nuthing about the fried rice looked or tasted fresh. The beansprouts were not crispy the egg was super soggy and every piece of beef and chicken was like jerky. When they changed their name renovated the restaurant and raised the prices, I hoped the quality of the food would be raised also.

General Tso chicken was fantastic! My wife enjoyed the crab roll. The ramen broth was not very rich but had great ingredients. Will go back!

Just tried Tensan Sushi & Ramen and Iβm definitely coming back. The atmosphere is super welcoming and cozy perfect for a chill lunch or a relaxed dinner. From the moment I walked in, the customer service stood out right away friendly, attentive, and made me feel right at home. Now letβs talk about the food . Everything was packed with flavor like you can tell itβs made fresh and actually seasoned right. Nothing bland over here! And the best part? The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes you get. Youβre really getting your moneyβs worth. If youβre looking for a spot that gives good vibes, great service, and flavorful food without breaking the bank, Tensan is a solid choice. Definitely worth checking out! Basil Shrimp Fried Rice.

I discovered this place looking for authentic Ramen, and boy am I glad I did! Now, my family and I visit weekly. Every dish (sushi, fried rice, pot stickers, soup, etc.) has been fresh and well presented. Additionally, the service is great. The servers are attentive, but not overbearing,,which allows for a relaxed meal service. The space is small and quaint which makes it cozy and communal. My family and I have this place in full rotation.
